The Player: FIFA 10

I haven’t played a ton of EA’s monster FIFA 10 yet – just a few friendly games using Toronto FC – but I can already tell how true to life the game is. In each closely contested game, I had TFC tied nil-nil going into the dying seconds of the match and then (you see where this is going, right?) – just like the real team – I choked in a cheap goal right at the end to lose. Of course, I haven’t totally melted down when a playoff spot was on the line but, like I said, I haven’t played much yet.

Lingering fan anger aside, I’m really looking forward to diving into the game and seeing how much EA has improved the game since last year.
